Annual Review 2025
The 2025 season
marked a year of significant progress for 06 United
FC, highlighted by the men’s team joining the UPSL
semi-professional league and the expansion of our
youth development programs to Long Island. Serving
over 350 youth athletes across five boroughs, the
club remained committed to excellence in player
development, community engagement, and
organizational growth. These achievements reflect
the dedication of our players, coaches, volunteers,
and partners.

[Men’s Team Joins the UPSL Semi-Professional League]

In 2025, our men’s team took a
significant step forward by joining the United Premier
Soccer League (UPSL) for the first time, competing in
Division 2. Over a demanding season of more than 20 matches,
the team made a strong statement by finishing 2nd place in
the Fall 2025 South Division 2 with a 4–2–2 record. This
outstanding performance earned the club an invitation to
move up, and in Spring 2026, our men’s team will compete in
American Northeast Division 1, marking an exciting new
chapter in the club’s competitive journey.

[New Season of 06 Youth Development Programs]

Our youth programs remain the cornerstone of 06
United. In 2025, we proudly supported over 350 youth
members across all five boroughs of New York City.
For the past 11 years, our mission has remained
consistent: to serve our communities through
high-quality youth soccer programming from March
through October, fostering both athletic skill and
personal growth.
We extend our heartfelt
gratitude to the more than 60 volunteer coaches and
staff members whose dedication and support made this
year’s programming possible.

[Expansion New Youth Training Site to Long Island]

In 2025, our youth development programs reached an
important milestone with the establishment of our
fifth training site in Great Neck, Long Island.
Saturday morning sessions officially launched,
allowing us to serve a new community and extend our
mission beyond New York City. This expansion
provides youth players outside the city with access
to structured, professional soccer training while
integrating them into the 06 United development
pathway.

[Continued Youth Partnership with NYCFC]

Our ongoing partnership with New York City FC
(NYCFC), established in 2019, continued to provide
significant benefits in 2025. Through this
collaboration, our players, families, and coaches
enjoyed matchday ticket discounts, new stadium
priority access, exclusive gameday experiences,
youth partner–specific talent identification events,
and coaching education opportunities. This
partnership remains a key resource supporting player
development and community engagement.

[3rd Annual Community Cup]

The 3rd Annual Community
Cup was hosted by our Brooklyn Academy at Dust Bowl
Field on June 15. Despite a rainy game day, nothing
could stop our players’ passion and determination.
Over 120 Division 1 players from our five locations
competed across multiple age groups. Congratulations
to this year’s champions: U11 Division: Staten
Island, U14 Division: Manhattan, U16 Division:
Queens.

[Summer Programs 2025]

Our summer programs, first
launched in 2019 and expanded to multiple locations,
continued to grow in 2025. This year, we welcomed
over 120 children to participate in eight weeks of
summer training throughout July and August. Weekday
sessions were held twice per week across various age
groups, led by experienced USSF-licensed coaches.

[U15 Team Joins Fun for Kids Summer League]

Our
U15 team participated again in the Fun for Kids
Summer League at Parade Ground, gaining valuable
match experience and continuing to develop
confidence, teamwork, and tactical understanding in
a competitive environment.

[8th Annual Youth Internal Tournament]

September 14, 2025

The 8th Annual Youth Internal Tournament was held on
September 14 at Frank Principe Park, Maspeth. Nearly
330 players from five locations competed across
multiple divisions. Champions included: Grassroots:
Queens, U12-D1: Brooklyn, U12-D2: Staten Island,
U14-D1: Brooklyn, U14-D2: Queens, U16-D1: Queens.
Brooklyn successfully secured their second-ever
'Grand Regional Champion' title.

[Winter Training Programs 2025/26]

During the 2025/26 season,
winter training programs were hosted in Brooklyn,
Queens, and Manhattan, providing players with the
opportunity to maintain fitness, refine technical
skills, and sustain training momentum during the
offseason, ensuring a seamless transition into the
next outdoor season.

[13th Annual Adult Internal Tournament]
- December 13, 2025
- |
Our 13th Annual Adult Internal Tournament featured
four adult teams competing on December 13 at Frank
Principe Park. Team A finished the tournament
undefeated with a 4–0 record, earning the 2025
championship title. Prior to the matches, all
participating players observed a moment of silence
in remembrance of the victims of the Tai Po fire in
Hong Kong, demonstrating our community’s solidarity
and respect.

As we approach 06 United’s 20th
anniversary in 2026, the club has already laid plans
for new initiatives and programs. We look forward to
continued growth, increased opportunities, and
ongoing success for our players, coaches, and the
communities we serve.
